Backs Against the Wall
AP Wire --- The Dallas Barons dropped game one of their semifinal series with the Modoc 12-4 on Sunday afternoon. The Barons will now face elimination on Wednesday night at Reverchon Park at 7pm. The team missed on some scoring opportunities early on and the Modocs brought their hitting shoes to the ballpark. "We tip our caps to those guys. They came to play and beat us up today. But that's why we play a three game series. One game doesn't mean anything." said Travis Arbogast.
The Barons' backs are up against the wall. It's win or go home. "Every pitch, every AB means something now. This is why we play all summer long. We'll be ready to bounce back." remarked Dave DePaul. |
