Barons Drop Again
Playboy.com --- The Barons lost to the Modoc on Sunday afternoon, 4-2, after another rough day at the plate. The offense was held to just 5 hits extending a slump that has spawned only 3 runs in 25 innings of baseball. "I blame the pitching. If we could hold teams scoreless then we'd have two wins and a tie in our last three games and not three losses. Yeah, the pitching and the coaching too." said Dave DePaul in jest.

The Barons staff did another fine job as Greg Hillman went 6 innings, and gave up only 3 hits in the no decision. Pete Terrana came in relief and was also very effective.

The Barons will end the regular season on Wednesday night at Reverchon Park near downtown Dallas. The team is looking forward to getting back to the 'Chon and finishing the regular season. "We hope to get back on track and prepare for the playoff run. Everything resets come playoff time." said James Gardner.
